INTRODUCCIÓN

Esteban Beccar Varela es analista en formación de la Sociedad Argentina de Psicoanálisis (SAP). En este encuentro Esteban compartió con nosotros de una manera muy genuina y espontanea el camino que lo llevó a ser psicoanalista, así como sus experiencias en la formación. El relato de estas experiencias  nos fueron permitiendo tener un intercambio acerca de las similitudes y diferencias en cuanto a la formación de un psicoanalista en distintas instituciones. En este sentido nos pareció muy interesante conocer acerca del seminario de Clínica Referenciada, un espacio donde se dialoga acerca del quehacer psicoanalítico para después teorizar sobre esa experiencia.   

INTRODUCTION

Esteban Beccar Varela is an analyst in training at the Argentine Society of Psychoanalysis (SAP). In this meeting Esteban shared with us in a very genuine and spontaneous way the journey that led him to be a psychoanalyst, as well as his experiences in training. The account of these experiences allowed us to have an exchange about the similarities and differences regarding the training of a psychoanalyst in different institutions. In this sense, we found it very interesting to learn about the Clinical Referenced seminar, a space where people talk about psychoanalytic work and then theorize about that experience.

Iniciamos la entrevista comentándole cómo surgió nuestro Blog.

Grupo: Es un grupo de lectura que iniciamos con Clara Nemas. El grupo surgió de la pregunta ¿cómo se forma la mente de un analista? Íbamos leyendo bibliografía de autores contemporáneos que pensaron sobre esto, en su mayoría de la escuela inglesa. Primero surgió la idea de un libro, con los textos y nuestras impresiones; después vino el congreso de la IPA en Buenos Aires (2017) y surgió la posibilidad de entrevistar algunos autores leídos. Al mismo tiempo también estuvo la idea de realizar entrevistas a analistas en formación; hay una entrevista a analistas indios y a una analista de APdeBA. 

¿En qué momento de la formación te encontrás?

Esteban Beccar Varela: Yo estoy hacia el final de la formación. En realidad, en cuanto a lo que son los seminarios ya los terminé de cursar. Igualmente, en SAP, si uno no terminó con todo, lo que se propone es que se siga cursando algún seminario; aunque ya tengamos la currícula completa. Así que estoy haciendo un seminario en este momento. En SAP hay una modalidad de Coloquios, uno al comienzo de la supervisión didáctica; otro cuando ésta termina presentando lo trabajado durante la misma y un tercer coloquio con la segunda supervisión. INTERVIEW 

We started the interview by commenting on how our Blog came about.

Group: It is a reading group that we started with Clara Nemas. The group arose from the question how the mind of an analyst is formed. We were reading bibliography of contemporary authors who thought about this, mostly from the English school. First came the idea of ​​a book, with the texts and our impressions; then came the IPA congress in Buenos Aires (2017) and the possibility arose to interview some authors who had been read. At the same time there was also the idea of ​​conducting interviews with analysts in training; there is an interview with Indian analysts and an analyst from APdeBA.

At what point in your training are you?

Esteban Beccar Varela: I am towards the end of the training. Actually, as for what the seminars are, I have already finished taking them. Likewise, in SAP, if one did not finish with everything, going on taking a seminar is what is proposed; although we already have the complete curriculum. So, I am doing a seminar right now. In SAP there is a Colloquium modality, one at the beginning of the didactic supervision; another when it ends by presenting what has been worked on during it and a third discussion with the second supervision.
